Our campground was developed as a quiet family campground with a focus on getting back to nature. Our rules are in place to ensure that you, your family, and park visitors have an enjoyable, safe and peaceful camping experience. - Check-in time is 2:00 – 7:00pm. Check-out time 11:00am.
- Early arrivals and late departures are subject to day pass fees.
- All campers must check in at the main office at the front entrance.
- All fees are due at time of booking.
- Your campsite registration includes up to 6 people and one vehicle per campsite.
- Sites are limited to 3 shelters including your trailer.
- You must be 18 years of age to book a site.
- Your cabin registration includes 2-4 adults and dependent children depending on the cabin occupancy, and one vehicle per cabin site.
- Any additional vehicles can be accommodated in our overflow parking for a daily fee of $10.00. You must display your parking permit on your windshield.
- Upon completion of registration, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances including cases due to inclement weather.
- All guests and visitors must register before entering the park. Visitors will be charged a day pass fee.
- Day pass for visitors is $5.00 per person ($25.00 max. for group) Parking is in the overflow parking lot and included in your day pass.
- We are open for visitors from 10:00am – 9:00pm. Day passes are available at the main office.
- Our entire park is radio quiet and generator free.
- Noisy parties, foul language, drunkenness, illegal drugs and disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. Consumption of alcohol in public places is strictly prohibited.
- Noise levels should be kept at a reasonable level at all times of the day and night. Practice good camping manners and respect your neighbour’s solitude and privacy.
- Alcohol and cannabis must only be consumed on reserved campsites/cabins.
- For the enjoyment of all, please be conscious of where you smoke. By law there is no smoking within 3 metres/10 feet of any doorway.
- Violation of the above will result in your camping privileges being revoked.
- Our camp store is located at the main office and carries the basics.
- The store is open from 9:00am-12:00pm and 2:00pm -7:00pm
- There is no power at any of our camping sites, if you need power for your trailer or tent you will need to supply your own through battery and/or solar power.
- There is 110v power at the comfort station. Our entire campground is run on solar power, please be respectful of your power usage.
- Cabins have 12v power for lights and 12v plug-ins for charging your phone and/or small electronics. Power is limited so be mindful that if we have a stretch of cloudy days your solar power will be extremely limited. Do not leave lights on and electronics charging for excessive amounts of time.
- All our water is non potable, you must either boil the water or bring your own drinking water.
- Water is available at taps around the park.
- Bring refillable containers.
- Taps are for filling water containers only, no dish washing or soap are allowed at the water taps.
- Water used for washing dishes must be disposed of in the vault privies, do not pour water out into the forest. (will attract animals)
- Outside FIREWOOD is prohibited. You must purchase your firewood from Brennan’s Hill Camping and Cabins because of invasive species and their threat to our forest and campground.
- Please light fires only in pits provided. Do not move fire pits. Keep fires low at all times. Cutting of trees and/or branches is prohibited. Wood can be purchased from the office/store. DO NOT remove bark from trees or scavenge for wood in the forest.
- Extinguish all fires before retiring for the night or leaving your site.
- If there is a fire ban in the area, it will be posted at the office.
- Fire bans are strictly enforced
- When using the facilities in the playground/pavilion area you are responsible for supervision of your children/pets.
- When using the bbq/pavilion, please take your garbage back to your site and dispose of it properly.
- BBQ use, leave clean for the next family’s use.
- Playground facilities are used at your own risk, we will not be responsible for any injuries while using any of our facilities in the park.
- Pets are allowed throughout the park. Pets must be kept on-leash at all times. Please clean up after your pet. Leaving your pet unattended is unacceptable.
- Zero tolerance policy for dogs off-leash and constant barking or disruption.
- Pets are allowed in certain cabins, please check if pets are allowed in your cabin at time of booking.
- Be responsible with your garbage – Reduce – Reuse – Recycle: Please help to keep the park clean. Put your garbage in a bag and take it to the dumpster at the main entrance. Whenever possible, use refillable containers for food and water bottles. Please take all other recyclables home with you.
- If you leave your garbage and food out overnight, you will attract animals and have a mess to clean in the morning. We suggest storing your food in your vehicle. If garbage is left for us to do, extra charges will be applied to your credit card.
- A minimum of $50.00 cleaning fee will be added to the credit card on file for sites left in disarray.
- Your campsite must be maintained in a clean and orderly condition, when leaving the campsite please restore the campsite to its original condition.
- Do not pound nails into trees and take down all ropes.
- All fees are due at the time of booking. Fees include a non-refundable booking fee of $7.00 per unit booked.
- Booking can be done online through our website, or over the phone with one of our campground staff.
- From time of booking to 14 days before your arrival date, cancellations will be billed at 50% of your booking amount.
- If you cancel within the 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival, all payment is forfeited.
- Changes to your reservation can be made up to the 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival. You may alter the dates of your stay but not the length, pending availability by calling the office or sending an email. There is a $25.00 fee per change.
- If changing the length of your stay, cancellations fees will apply
- Registered guests are personally responsible for the conduct of their children, pets and visitors.
- Helmets must be worn when cycling.
- Absolutely no firearms or fireworks are allowed in the park.
- Any roads inside the park have a 10 km/hr speed limit. Please watch for children, pets, and people on bikes or walking.
- All persons entering the campgrounds and using the facilities available do so at their own risk.
- Those not conforming may result in eviction.
- Refuse admittance to undesirable persons and will ask such persons to leave the park if necessary with no refund
- Access the sites/cabins at all times for inspection, service and maintenance.
- Brennan’s Hill Campground and Cabins including employees do not accept responsibility for personal injury or loss whatsoever, incurred by campers or their visitors at our establishment.
